Mr. Roth according to Mr. Roth
IMG_3821, originally uploaded by leyaevelyn. A few days ago, I went over to my friend, Danuta’s, to watch a documentary on Philip Roth. She had taped it, knowing how much I like his writings. She had also given me his … Continue reading

Merry Merry
P1040564, originally uploaded by leyaevelyn. It’s been snowing gently for about eighteen hours and it doesn’t look like it wants to stop! A gift for those who want a white Christmas. For me, I’d love some clear, not icy roads, … Continue reading

Painting news
IMG_3802, originally uploaded by leyaevelyn. It’s been quiet on the painting front for about a week. At least, until today. I finally had photos taken so, after a big push over several weeks to finish up enough strong work for … Continue reading
A foggy day on the golf course
IMG_3764, originally uploaded by leyaevelyn. Now that the weather has turned, I can take Lila to the golf course for a run (her run, I walk). It’s beautiful, in any weather. I think it is her favorite place to play, … Continue reading
A day at the beach
IMG_3734, originally uploaded by leyaevelyn. A couple of weekends ago, I spent a cold, sunny Saturday afternoon at Hubbards Beach. My camera played tricks on me. The sun seems to be a huge flower in the sky.
