It’s that time again!

This weekend is Studio Rally. I’ve been cleaning up all day, getting ready for two days of open studio, 10 am to 6 pm. It took me two hours just to change the (very dirty) paper on the floor. It’s clean now, until it gets dirty again.

If you are in the area, do come by.  It looks like it won’t be a good weekend for gardening:  rain again.  But a good one for checking into the artists’ studios.  I’m looking forward to meeting new people and seeing friends here. I’m also looking foward to getting back to work on Monday.

About leyaevelyn

About thirty years ago, I moved from New York City to rural Nova Scotia. For an artist, it is a good place to live. Spacious and quiet. Despite the beautiful scenery and frequently grey skies, my abstract paintings focus on color, its expressive qualities and how it creates form and space.
