It’s that time of year again!

Studio Rally Weekend is back! This Saturday and Sunday- September 25th & 26th – During Culture Days! I’ll be glued to my studio from 10 am to 6 pm both days so start your engines…fasten your seat-belts…look for the checkered flag…Pray that the weather is good and there are lots of new and seasoned visitors to receive this weekend!

Paul Slipp, the tireless organizer of Studio Rally, chatted the Rally Weekend up on Information Morning with Don Connolly on Thursday. The Chronicle Herald intends to do an article on the Rally Weekend featuring one of the artists for next Saturday’s edition. There are many posters all around Halifax and guides in major spots and a few of the hotels in the downtown core.

As Paul says: “Here’s to some frost in the mornings this week to get those leaves changing, sun this week, and many art loving travelers abandoning their budgets!”

Please do stop by!

About leyaevelyn

About thirty years ago, I moved from New York City to rural Nova Scotia. For an artist, it is a good place to live. Spacious and quiet. Despite the beautiful scenery and frequently grey skies, my abstract paintings focus on color, its expressive qualities and how it creates form and space.
